Organization History

In 2010   Hope for the Community opened its doors in Blaine to feed those in need in the Twin Cities community.  In its first week of operation Hope for the Community fed 27 families.

In 2012  Hope for the Community received TEFAP/USDA Certification.  Because of this, Hope for The Community is able to offer nutritious food to its clients each week as well as increase the number of families HFTC was able to serve.

IN 2014  Hope for the Community became an independent 501c3 Non-Profit humanitarian organization.  Hope for The Community currently feeds approximately 600 families per week.

In 2018 Hope For The Community opened a location in Elko/New Market.  This location serves the southern Twin Cities area while Blaine continues to serve the North Metro and surrounding communities.
